If there was ever a time to catch up in television, it's most certainly now. It's so important that we stay home right now, so you're probably looking for ways to make it as comfortable as possible.

Many of you may also feel like you can't train properly (or are looking for motivation to train). So what's better than watching some of the most legendary movies and documentaries in the field of sports and fitness?

Here are some of our favorite movies that you should check out:

10 sports & fitness films that will save you from boredom at home

Fittest On Earth (Amazon)

The functional fitness trend has almost exploded in recent years. This documentary accompanies the most important athletes in preparing for the event and in the subsequent competition.

Watch as the world's top athletes compete across 15 events over 5 days and let some of that drive and determination rub off on you. Watching the drama of who prevails as the world's strongest is guaranteed to keep you hooked from start to finish.

Game Changers (Netflix)

This documentary was released in 2019 - and if you missed it, now is your chance to catch up. Will Arnie and a world record-holding strongman make you say goodbye to meat and dairy in favor of a plant-based diet?

It's time to decide whether a vegan diet will help build muscle and strength, or hinder gains. You have time to weigh all the arguments in peace, so why shouldn't you.

There’s Only One Jimmy Grimble (Amazon)

Do you also miss the football that usually flickers across the screens? Then treat yourself to this football classic – an ultimate feel-good film that is sure to satisfy those longings.

After all, nothing beats a pair of magical football boots and a bit of British humor to help you escape reality for an hour or two.

The Dawn Wall (Netflix)

The highs this documentary takes are guaranteed to bring you to your knees. Follow Tommy and Kevin as they tackle the Dawn Wall of El Capitan, a 3000 foot climb in Yosemite National Park, California.

This seemingly impossible challenge will leave you in awe of their endurance and courage. Plus, this self-isolation will feel like a small thing. Eat, sleep, climb and generally hang on a rugged rock face for weeks? Sounds too extreme...

Warrior (Netflix)

An MMA movie starring Tom Hardy? But we're kind of there!

Trained by his alcoholic ex-boxer father, he bumps into his estranged brother in his MMA debut. If you like intricate family drama with some great fight scenes then hit play on this movie.

Will the fight bring the family back together? Check it out to find out.

Icarus (Netflix)

If everyone stays at home, then you may very well lack some excitement and scandals. Well, not with this movie! This Oscar-winning documentary will introduce you to the shocking world of doping in sport.

Remember The Titans (Disney+, YouTube)

Space Jam (YouTube, Google Play)

Take Home Message
